Tonal Harmony is built to respect your privacy and your autonomy as a learner.
What we collect
Nothing. Tonal Harmony does not collect personal information, does not require an account, and does not transmit user data off your device.
What is stored locally
User preferences (selected instrument, tempo, drum pattern, key, custom progressions, and similar) are stored on your device using iOS local storage. This data lives only on your device, is never synced or uploaded, and is removed when you delete the app.
Analytics & tracking
Tonal Harmony does not use analytics services, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party SDKs that collect or transmit data.
Microphone access
The Tuner feature requests microphone permission to detect the pitch of notes you play. Audio is processed entirely on-device in real time for pitch detection. No audio is recorded, stored, or transmitted at any time.
